Cameo Shell

Genuine shells, 8-10cm long.

Also known as Bullmouth or Red Helmet shells.  These are popularly used for carving into cameos, hence the name.  Part of the Cypraecassis Rufa species of the Cassidae family, they are commonly found off the South African coast, mostly around Mozambique and Kenya.
